Malaaya Adams
This project was a publishing assignment where we had we had to pick a children’s book or a short novel to illustrate. I chose the book, The Talking Eggs by Robert D. San Souci, that I grew up reading and since I have such a strong connection to this book, I wanted to put my best foot forward. I wanted my illustration style to include a mix of flat shapes and patterns, which helps add the whimsical and magical element of the story.
